This is the [...]]]> The Jacksonville Mud Run is essentially a 10k (six miles), boot camp style race across mud friendly obstacles.  The event is one of many charity events that MS Society holds to raise money to help cure multiple sclerosis — an autoimmune condition in which the immune system attacks the central nervous system. This is the first year in Jacksonville and while there is room for improvement, it was an overall success: raising over $80,000!
